Lost something at Lost Village?
If you've misplaced an item, please use the information below to help us get it back to you. Our team manages Lost Village lost property both during and after the event, and we'll contact you if we identify an item that matches your report.
If you're still on site, the quickest option is to visit The Oracle Thursday–Sunday, or the Box Office on Monday between 8am and 12pm.
A few things to know:
- After the event, this lost property form is the only way to report a lost item. Lost Village has handed all lost property operations over to our team, so the festival customer service team cannot assist with lost property enquiries. We are also unable to respond to phone calls, voicemails or emails about lost items.
- If your item is already in our inventory, we will usually contact you within two business days. If you do not hear from us, it is likely that we do not currently have your item. Additional property may still arrive as the site is cleared, so your report will remain on file and we will contact you if a possible match is found. There is no need to submit another report for the same item unless you have additional information or we ask you to do so.
- The fastest and most convenient way to reclaim your item after the festival is by delivery. Items valued at £75 or less are normally sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48. Items valued over £75 will default to Royal Mail Special Delivery for increased insurance cover. You may opt to use Tracked 48 instead, but compensation will be limited to £75.
- Items reclaimed after the festival are subject to a handling fee covering secure storage, packing materials and administration. If you choose delivery, the applicable postage charge will also be added. Collection from the event site during show days is free of charge.
- After the festival, lost property is stored securely at our Manchester city centre location in an area that is not accessible to reception or front-line staff. Once your item has been identified and any applicable fees have been paid, it will either be prepared for dispatch or transferred to reception for collection.
- Please do not travel to our Manchester city centre location until you have received confirmation that your item is ready for collection. Items cannot be collected directly from the secure storage area, and transfers to reception take place twice weekly.
- Lost Village lost property is retained for 4 weeks after the festival. Any items not reclaimed within this period will be responsibly disposed of.
Lost Property
Lost Village Festival
The 4-week lost property period following Lost Village Festival has now closed.
All items received from the event that remained unclaimed or could not be matched to a lost property report have now been responsibly disposed of or donated to local good causes.
If you submitted a lost property report and have not been contacted, unfortunately we were unable to match your report with an item handed in to us.
If we have already contacted you to confirm that your item was found and provided you with a Reclaim ID, you can still complete your reclaim using the instructions we sent you.
Please note:
- We are no longer accepting new lost property reports for Lost Village Festival.
- We are no longer holding unmatched or unclaimed lost property from the event.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out any further searches or follow-up for items that were not identified during the retention period.
- For future events, we recommend reporting lost property as soon as possible, ideally while you are still at the event, to give the best chance of your item being recovered.
Thank you to everyone who handed items in and helped us reunite lost property with its owners.
