Volunteers are at the heart of W.E.L.Safe

At W.E.L.Safe, our strength lies in the diversity of our volunteers, and we welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. Together, we can make festivals and events safer, more inclusive, and more supportive for everyone.

Volunteer With Us

Join Our Team of Welfare Volunteers!

Are you passionate about creating safer spaces at festivals and events across the UK, and even overseas? If so, we’d love to have you on board as a volunteer with W.E.L.Safe! We have a wide range of festival and event welfare volunteer opportunities available all year round.

You don’t need loads of experience. We provide full training before you get started. What really matters is that you’re:

  • Non-judgemental and open-minded
  • Caring, compassionate, and empathetic
  • Passionate about helping others stay safe

While no formal experience is required, having an interest or background in any of the following can be really helpful:

  • Substance misuse support
  • Mental health, sexual health, or health promotion
  • Medical, nursing, or first aid
  • Youth work, community work, or social care
  • Social work or related fields like education, housing support, etc.

We believe everyone has something valuable to offer, so whether you're experienced in these areas or simply passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
